Carthage Little League Player Code of Conduct
Player responsibilities are simple; be respectful of others, be responsible, play fair, always do your best,
and always exhibit good sportsmanship.
As a Carthage Little League participant (Child and Guardian alike), I hereby pledge that I will:
· Promote good sportsmanship toward teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and families.
· Support my team by being a positive, respectful teammate.
· Make every effort to attend practices and games on time and notify coaches if I am unable to
attend.
· Commit to personal improvement by working hard and being open to instruction from coaches.
· Demonstrate respect by congratulating opponents and displaying gracious behavior in both
victory and defeat.
· Use appropriate language and actions at all times, refraining from violence, disrespectful
behavior, or insults.
· Follow all league rules and act in the best interest of the team.
· Conduct myself with integrity, honor, and dignity.
· Respect the authority of officials, managers, and coaches by accepting decisions with
professionalism and refraining from challenging or questioning on-field calls.
I also agree that if I fail to abide by the aforementioned rules and guidelines, I will be subject to
disciplinary action levied by the Carthage Little League Board of Directors that could include but is not
limited to the following:
The Carthage Little League Board of Directors retains the sole authority to determine what, if any,
disciplinary action is appropriate for any conduct infraction.
